What is sprungbrett into work?
The large number of refugees that arrived in Germany in 2015 is a challenge for our society, but also provides opportunities. Schools and the economy are affected by this development. Allowing people who have been allowed to stay to participate in education and work and thus to contribute to integration requires tailor-made vocational guidance services.
A very important component in this is the implementation of internships that offer an insight into the working world in Germany and convey the high value of dual vocational training in our society. This is where the IdA project sprungbrett into work comes in: online internship listings for young people with refugee or migrant backgrounds in Bavaria. sprungbrett into work is an offshoot of www.sprungbrett-bayern.de, the internship listings site for students from all kinds of school in Bavaria.
